I've been meaning to get online today to say hello, but I was out all day driving people around and then doing some chores. Tomorrow will be spent at the GAY PRIDE PARADE with and I'll * hopefully * be able to pop on for a bit in the evening. Pictures will be taken, although I will make no guarantees to the quality of pictures or content of gayness (although I think it will be hard to miss ^ ^ _) In other news...

I'll just do this, since you know... all the cool cats on the block are doing it! 01. Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you.02. I will then tell what song/movie/icon reminds me of you.03. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, it would be... 04. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.05. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.06. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.07. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.08. Put this in your journal.enjoy.

I find it quite interesting that British Prime Minister Tony Blair is having his son intern with a member of the U.S. Congress, but I find it downright surprising that he is having him intern with a Republican.

Because I feel like it and I'm bored and nervous I will update again. I watched the Japanese version of two Monty Python and the Holy Grail scenes. It was so funny how they translated it. When they meet the french guard and he tells the other guards "I told them we already got one." about the Holy Grail, the Japanese version said "I've just told a lie" and the guards all crack up. It's very funny.

now heres something that is wayyy interesting. have any of you ever heard of "the dark side of rainbow" basically how i discovered it is, in school mrs carpenter was talking about how if you played the pink floyd record "dark side of the moon" and the wizard of oz movie on mute at the same time, some very very odd coincidences occur.

Capricorns are usually described as practical, steadfast, money-hungry and status-thirsty -- no wonder you get left off the astrological cocktail-party list. But this is the sign of David Bowie and Annie Lennox, not to mention Elvis. You are the true rock star.independent, powerful and seriously charismatic, you 're not too eager to please. And if you make money being yourself, who is anyone to quibble? But just like most rock stars, you 're either totally on or totally off... And you generally need a little social lubricant to loosen up and enjoy the after party, especially if you can hook up with a cute groupie.

Billy Corgan released the following full-page ad in last Tuesday's Chicago Tribune. In it, he says he has a "secret" to tell: he "plans to renew and revive the Smashing Pumpkins". I would sell a kidney to hear Cherub Rock live. Oh, please God, let this happen!!!!!

I forgot to mention that I finished The Da Vinci Code yesterday. Reaction: OMFG it's so awesome!!! 11!!!! 11 And a tad sentimental towards the end. But I can forgive that. I'm a total sucker for this very kind of stuff - taking facts and creating fiction over them. Partly because I'm intelligent enough to see the fiction in it, unline certain conspiracy theorists.: P I totally need to read the prequel, Angels and Demons (and if I'd known it was a prequel with the same main character I would've read that one first - duh). I think I'm a Dan Brown fan! Can't wait to see how they butcher the greatness of it in the movie. Gotta love Hollywood.

In the meantime, with all the liberals (er, excuse me, Democrats) passing around their "Howard Dean Is Not Insane" and "Dick Durbin is A-OK" type-petitions, you can sign the "Karl Rove Speaks For Me" petition.

When I was little my mother instilled in me a love of horror movies. Not stupid splat movies but good shit like old Alfred Hitchcock, Bella Lugosi and Rod Serling. I think that kind of appreciation of fear is healthy. Growing up with John Carpenter and Stephen King (no link - fuck him) was very disappointing as you can imagine. Their movies are just too easy to watch; too watered down and they lack that certain something. Its like morning sex: sometimes it seems to stay with you all day, and sometimes by lunch you wonder if that was this morning or yesterday morning.

RON WEASLEY: Ron is one of Harry's two best friends at Hogwarts, and a Gryffindor. Tall, with red hair and reckles, he is sometimes envious of Harry's fame, and is embarrassed by his family's lack of wealth. He and Harry stopped speaking for a while after Harry was entered into a magical competition in Book 4, but they made up after Ron realized that Harry was in danger. Ron is deathly afraid of spiders, ever since his older brother turned his teddy bear into one when Ron was a toddler. He's now a Gryffindor prefect, on the Quidditch team, and as always, right there in the thick of things with Harry. There also seems to be a thing developing between him and Hermione Granger.

Iranian President-elect Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appealed for unity Saturday after his fundamentalist movement overwhelmed the country's struggling reformers and centrists in a lopsided election. But opponents braced for what they feared would be curtailed freedoms at home and a more confrontational policy abroad.

If you 're a Pisces, you've probably already heard that you share a sign -- and an addictive personality -- with Liz Taylor, Liza Minelli and Kurt Cobain. Not only do Pisces like to lose themselves in the dreamy, out-there feeling that only hooch can give, but you build up a mighty tolerance fast. You 're an expensive date! On the other hand, you 're a fabulously enchanting partner, whether in conversation or in crime. With the right person, you can start out sharing a pitcher of margaritas and wind up in bed together for days. The phrase "addictive personality" can be read two ways, you know.

Assistant Attorney General Paul R. Corts recommended the other day that the $8000 drapes masking Justice Department statues John Ashcroft be removed - and Alberto Gonzales signed off on it. So the "Spirit of Justice" and the "Majesty of Law" have been restored. Well, metaphorically, anyway. Former Attorney General Ashcroft insisted that the statues be covered up in 2002 so that when he spoke in the Jusice Department's Great Hall, he'd be the only tit in the shot.

"Has there ever been a more revealing moment this year?" Mr. Rove asked. "Let me just put this in fairly simple terms: Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals."

, the musical. Now as much as I respect Joel Grey and Idina Menzel and even more so Kristin Chenoweth ('cause, man, that girl's got a set of pipes), seriously, the lyrics are just bad. Point and case, lyrics to the song "Popular":
