A really cool/nice/awesome/i donno what else to say coz i do nt wan na give it away ............ died. Oh yea. Aragog died, but who really give a beep. haha*tear * I will miss s/he HAHAHA andrea... i do nt think you know... unless you read the book. Ok it was a great book... minus a few moments. But yea. I've seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory twice, and I was thrilled with it both times. No one can ever approach the greatness of Gene Wilder in the role of Willy Wonka, obviously, but I thought Johnny Depp's interpretation of the character was very amusing. Danny Elfman's score was brilliant, and the Oompa Loompa songs were hilarious. They used the original Roald Dahl songs from the book, with music and vocals provided by Danny Elfman. My favourite was the psychedelic Veruca Salt song, closely followed by the disco Oompa Loompas in the Violet Beauregard one. Heh heh. The new Harry Potter came out yesterday, as we all know, but I don't have the money to buy it. I have to wait until someone's finished it and then borrow it. I hope Lockhart comes back again.

In press conference, Bush moves goal posts to say only a crime, and not a leak of classified information for political gain, would lead to the firing of aides like Scooter Libby and Karl Rove, implicated in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame...

the locket: r.a.b. i say it is regulus black, even though it is never said what his middle initital is. perhaps he was more like sirius than sirius would ever expect of his family, and when found out actually did something for the good side and that was why he was killed. afterall, the note was adressed to the dark lord, the name given to voldemort by his death eaters.

DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- A Colorado congressman told a radio show host that the U.S. could "take out" Islamic holy sites if Muslim fundamentalist terrorists attacked the country with nuclear weapons. Rep. Tom Tancredo made his remarks Friday on WFLA-AM in Orlando, Florida. His spokesman stressed he was only speaking hypothetically. Talk show host Pat Campbell asked the Littleton Republican how the country should respond if terrorists struck several U.S. cities with nuclear weapons. "Well, what if you said something like -- if this happens in the United States, and we determine that it is the result of extremist, fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites," Tancredo answered. "You 're talking about bombing Mecca," Campbell said. "Yeah," Tancredo responded.

Like the movie, the Batman Begins "Tumbler" Batmobile kind of disappoints while still being very cool. Both the film and the RC toy are dark, brooding, well-made, and interesting to look at. Also, like Christian Bale, the Tumbler has a limited range and takes too many batteries. A quote from the review:

It had been three weeks, four days and two hours since Charlie had admitted that he had the equivalent of a schoolboy crush on Shannon. Something about her big blue eyes, shining blonde hair and softly tanned skin appealed to Charlie, bringing out a side of him he ’ d buried a long time ago. His vulnerable side.

Dumbledore was Secret keeper for the Order, right? Well since he's dead this spell would cease to exist. We've seen this happen with Harry. He was under the Petrificus Totalis spell and as soon as Dumbledore died, the spell wore off. So the HQ of OOTP is now vulnerable to their enemies. And what is also more scary, is that if Kreacher has saved the heavy Locket (assuming Mr/Ms/Mrs R.A.B. was Regulus Black) and then if Voldemort finds out that one of his Horcruxes are missing, there's no doubt he'd attack Grimmauld Place. Other than that OOTP is now vulnerable, wouldn't it be?

I cryed... for two hours. I know it seems so stupid that I cryed over the death of Albus Dumbledore, and the unexpected betrayal of Severus Snape... I couldn't believe that he killed Dumbledore! I cryed for two hours because... even though they aren't real out here... they are in my head. So Severus is the Half Blood Prince... I almost expected it in a way. But then Severus... * sigh * I'm almost crying again... yes... I know I'm a sappy over-obbsessed prat... but that s how I am. I know it seems strange but all I feel is sad Dumbledore died and sorry for Severus... well that's basically it... that s all.

WASHINGTON — Top aides to President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were intensely focused on discrediting former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV in the days after he wrote an op-ed article for the New York Times suggesting the administration manipulated intelligence to justify going to war in Iraq, federal investigators have been told.

Lance Armstrong has a 2: 46 lead with seven days left in the Tour de France. The guy's a fucking machine. Unless there's an accident or a complete breakdown, he's going to win his seventh straight. Hell of a way to go into retirement. Impressive, to say the least.

I was a happy geekboy this weekend. Sci Fi friday started showing new episodes of their great Friday night lineup. Fun to see actors I have enjoyed in other shows take on new characters... One (Ben Browder) not so different, and the other (Claudia Black) VERY different. Also liked Beau Bridges as the new general. I don't think this show has jumped the shark yet... Atlantis, still getting better with every episode. And Battlestar Galactica... well... Best. Show. On. Television.

Goodie woman Sandra Bullock married bad-arse "Garage Monster" TV show host Jesse James over the weekend. It was Bullock's first marriage and James'third. Jesse James was previously married to lesbian-scenes-only-turned-hardcore-arse-pumping pornstar legend Janine Lindemulder. Janine who? Check her out yourself. Big fake breasts or small tits? Hmmm …

This is a Vermonster from Ben & Jerry's. This is what Ross, Ben, Steven, and myself ate on Friday, before our pool party. Thefour of us were able to finish this entire thing in 12 minutes, 35seconds. A large group of girls came along to watch us, and theygot their own Vermonster. Ten girls ate the other Vermonster, except they didn't even finish it. It was still a lot of fun, thetasties, most nauseating fun I've ever had. Luckily this did n'tcome back to bite me in the ass on any of the rides at Busch Gardens.

Terry Francona pinch hit Alex Cora for Mark Bellhorn in yesterday's game against the Yankees (July 17) instead of pinch hitting back-up first baseman John Olerud because he was afraid of who was going to play second base should the Sox come back to the tie the game and the game go into extra innings.

Ben Foster to Play Angel in X-men 3 Ben Foster (Six Feet Under) will play the mutant Archangel (aka Angel) in 20th Century Fox's X-men 3, reports Variety. Went to a muggle bookstore, only in my world this time. Bought "The Picture of Dorian Gray," by Oscar Wilde, "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov, some Poe, Byron and Shakespeare. Should keep me mildly entertained when I can't sleep. I want to see a movie. I want to know what the big deal is. Drinking binge is over. Combined with the potions for headaches and sleep... it's not good. Had to mkae myself sick. Scared myself a little. Felt like I was spiralling out of control. Stupid as usual.

As K said "Consider anybody who visits here tagged", I consider myself tagged and here is my answer. The movie "Mystic River" has amazing performances by these 3 guys -- Sean Penn (he won the best-actor Oscar for this), Tim Robbins (he won supporting-actor Oscar) and Kevin Bacon.

Regardless, I think it's high time he claim his rightful place in the dynasty and enter public office, preferably as a Democrat. Although this possibility would have seemed absurd a couple of years ago, White House insiders have pointed to new strain on the Bush/Barney partnership -- perhaps beginning several months ago when Bush mistook Barney for White House Press Secretary Scott Mcclellan. (When asked about this at the time, Mcclellan said that he would not comment on an ongoing investigation.)

I'm not going back to Prout next year. For all those who don't know the story by now, I'd really rather not be a lameass and explain it through a livejournal entry, rather than call you or see you and explain it in person. However, I'm a lameass. I'm going to URI next year, to finish out my senior year of high school and start my freshman year of college at the same time. Yes, this is strange. No, I will not get my diploma from Prout. Yes, I am extremely happy with this move. No, I'm not happy about missing you guys next year. If that doesn't explain it, then call me or something. Most likely "or something", since I think our phone is still on crack.

Driving home from a party on Chappaquiddick Island, Senator Ted Kennedy's car goes over the side of Dike Bridge and flips over into a pond. Kennedy manages to free himself from the automobile, but his passenger, one Mary Jo Kopechne, drowns. For some reason, Kennedy tells no one about the accident for at least an hour, and waits until the following morning to notify local police.
