So, I've read through the night and I've finished Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. And now I'm feeling sad. Are children's books supposed to make you feel that sad? Anyway, I'm waiting for all your comments about the book (and obviously, don't read the comments if you don't want to be spoilt!) I'm dead tired and I want to sleep but I've got boring things to do first... agggh.

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe. 13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.20 -29: You are a twentysomething at heart. Contrast that with the conciliatory blather of today. Prime Minister Tony Blair invites British and Muslim leaders to a meeting Tuesday at 10 Downing Street where it is reported he will urge worldwide action to uproot what he has called the "evil ideology" and "twisted teaching" behind the London bombings.

The LA Superior Court issued a temporary restraining order and set an August hearing date for arguments on a preliminary injunction pending trial. Farrell was represented by uber-celebrity attorney Martin Singer. (Read about Singer ’ s other legal battles here).

. Yep. I felt downright invincible after that. So I went to the gym and did my regular workout too. Just to prove that I could. After that was "Singing in the Rain" that night at PTP. Good show, I'll probably go see it again this weekend too... since I may very well have a date. :-D More about that later though.... maybe... ;-) Suffice it to say I didn't get much sleep on Sunday either. But I had a nice time in Baltimore. Ttfn-dav - "Did you hear that? He's a perversion of nature. Wow, isn't that exciting?" I just had to watch "Edward Scissorhands" the other day, since I was talking about Johnny Depp and Tim Burton's work together. Anyone seen "Ed Wood"? That's talent, right there. :)

I am so disappointed. Remus Lupin now apparently has a moustache. This is just not right. Yes, I know that I should judge the performance based upon the acting and all, but really. Visuals are a large part of any movie, and this man does not look like the Remus Lupin I might have pictured. Damnit, I want Remus to be handsome! And clean-shaven! No offense to David Thewlis, but... just... no. Of course, this will in no way inhibit me from seeing the movie, but I thought I'd complain all the same.

In both the 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns, nominee and President George W. Bush pledged to nominate justices for the Supreme Court in the mold of Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas. That kind of pledge is, in large measure, what gained him support amongst “ social conservatives ” and thus, the 2000 Republican nomination.

James Doohan, who played Scotty on Star Trek died on Wednesday. Quite sad, really. There were some interesting notes about him in this article at Yahoo!. Apparently the man was missing an entire middle finger. Isn't that odd? He joined Canada's army during WWII, stormed a beach and got shot six times. He lost his middle finger, and his life was (honestly) spared by his silver cigarette case blocking a bullet from entering his chest. Lucky fucker. Well, I can only hope I live to be 85. Although, if everywhere I went someone said "Beam me up, Scotty!" at me, regardless of whether or not I was in the show, I'd have probably committed suicide around 59 or so.
