5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears'55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

Haven't really updated in awhile, not much to update on reallyjess and I went to see Corpse Bride last night, honestly, i didn't want to see it because i basically don't like Tim Burton's work witht he exception of Batman, but this movie was better than i thought, still not "amazing" as people have been saying, but not bad none-the-less, Better than Nightmare Before Christmas ......... god i hate that movie .......... After the movie we came back here to an empty house and had fun :) The other day, i was at Jess'place, and she decided she wanted to go through all her Beanie Babies she had stored away, she was so friggin cute sitting there telling me about them :) I like her, she's pretty :)

Former FEMA director Michael Brown aggressively defended his role in responding to Hurricane Katrina on Tuesday and put much of the blame for coordination failures on Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. "My biggest mistake was not recognizing by Saturday that Louisiana was dysfunctional," Brown told a special congressional panel set up by House Republican leaders to investigate the catastrophe.

I watched Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children last night. The animation quality was beautiful. They do provide a bit more closer to the game. But they do not go in to depth with new story elements. I picky and expected more story elements to be introduced, It was good though.

hat tip to for the link Interview: Neil Gaiman and Joss Wedon Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman may well be the two most interesting people creating popular culture right now. Whedon is the man behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, and he wrote and directed the science fiction film Serenity, which opens Sept. 30th. Gaiman created the instant-classic comic book Sandman, and he's the author of the new novel Anansi Boys, out this month. He has a new movie, Mirrormask, which also opens Sept. 30. They chatted on the phone together — chaperoned by TIME's Lev Grossman — about their work, their fans, their Klingon bodyguards and, of course, Timecop. Dammit, I'm so envious of Neil Gaiman I could perform a severe rudeness to him.

I signed up for Netflix... we'll see how it works out. I know this is a little late, but everyone should watch PBS tonight and tommorrow night because there's a Bob Dylan documentary on, directed by the master himself, Martin Scorsese. Too much work, too much procrastination.

Google launched another cool service today. It's showing episodes of the new sitcom called "Everybody Hates Chris," created and narrated but not starring Chris Rock. The show airs on Friday night. Monday through Thursday of the following week, you can watch last week's episode, minus commercials, in about 21 minutes, at Google Video.

And they also made fun of Kevin Federline and his magic mirror which told him how to look... god I can't remember, look like a jackass I guess. They used a much funnier word. Kitchen Confidential was great. I like they way they all interact with each other, especially Jack and Steven - they fought all episode, Jack wants to go straight, no stealing, and Steven wants things to be the same. In the end Steven has Jack's back and Jack stands up for his friend. It's a fast moving comedy and I love that. I also love that Bradley Cooper is so pretty and that he looked as though he was wearing eyeliner last night.

. The film centers around Captain Malcolm Reynolds, a hardened veteran (on the losing side) of a galactic civil war, who now ekes out a living pulling off small crimes and transport-for-hire aboard his ship, Serenity. He leads a small, eclectic crew who are the closest thing he has left to family – squabbling, insubordinate and undyingly loyal. "

Bruce Campbell, Tom Cruise, and Brad Pitt were approached to be the 4th Aqua Teen in the ATHF Movie. The character only has a couple lines. Cruise and Pitt both turned it down, and Bruce has yet to respond. I hope Bruce does the movie, and I hope he's a chicken nugget.

We went and saw The White Stripes at Coney Island on Sunday night. While I've always liked the band, I was somewhat skeptical when they hit it big with White Blood Cells. After covering bands like The Oblivians in Memphis in the late'90s, the sudden popularity of the Stripes presented me with a Nirvana moment. Here was a genre of underground music that had been going strong for years and was now suddenly being "discovered." The Oblivians'pinnacle, for example, came with the genre exploding Play 9 Songs with Mr. Quintron, which was released in 1997, the year The White Stripes released their first single. Jack White even acquired his first red Montgomery Airline guitar (now a signature) from the Oblivians'Jack Yarber. Claims of White's originality were irritating, in other words.

1. Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush separated. Frankly, I didn't give much of a damn until I realized that this could be the end of One Tree Hill. Hopefully they'll do a'White Stripes'and just get another chick. Sorry Brooke. Lucas just draws in fans. Plus, we have enough of Summer from The OC. I'm not a Brooke hater. I'm just a One Tree Hill lover.

I suppose it was too much to ask for Dan Rather and Mary Mapes to go quietly into the night. Instead we get Gunga Dan raging against the dying light of his career, saying, that's my story and I'm stickin'to it. And the other supporting pillar (s) was/were?

People like Bill O ’ Reilly, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and a host of conservative commentators love to blast the ACLU for being godless communists. They will trumpet every singe case were the ACLU, in their opinion, acts to take any mention of “ God ” out of public life. The problem is it ’ s simply not true and here is the latest example of the ACLU actively engaging in the protection an individuals first amendment rights of to express their religious beliefs … in New Jersey no less.

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

With the NY Jets adding the ageless Vinny Testaverde to the roster to shore up the QB position after Chad Pennington ’ s injury, an interesting question for Jets management is whether the team will try and move up in the draft to take USC QB Matt Leinart. Of course, the Jets may not have that many spots to move up if the team is not able to recover from the loss of Pennington.

Today I went out to lunch with my brother and mom, for my moms birthday. And I was reminded of a game that me and my brother used to play when we were little in the back of our old car. It cracks me up thinking about it. It was called "Get Out Of My Lane." Now the object was to yell at he cars behind us to, you got it, get out of our lane. Good memories. How I miss the Oldsmobile, my dad told me that would be the first car I'd learn how to drive, not true. But yes, loved that rust bucket. Haha, another funny tidbit. I was watchin Arrested Development and the previews for next week look hilarious. I HIGHLY recommend everyone watch it. Scott Baio is gon na be on it playing a lawyer named Bob Loblaw. Say it three times fast and try not to laugh. Thank you and goodnight.

You all remember, I'm sure, the story of Ashley Smith and Brian Nichols. Nichols, of course, is the man who overpowered a deputy escorting him to a rape trial, assaulted her and then killed a judge, court reporter, and a deputy in and outside the Fulton County courthouse. Later that night he fatally shot a federal agent at his home in Buckhead. Nichols took Smith hostage in her home before surrendering to authorities. Smith later told reporters how she had read Nicholas chapters from

An old woman drowned in a nursing home in New Orleans on August 29, along with 31 other old people. She drowned because the company into whose care she was entrusted chose not to evacuate any of them. The old woman was the mother of Thomas Rodrigue, the Jefferson Parish emergency services director. On September 4th, Aaron Broussard, President of Jefferson Parish, broke down while telling NBC's Tim Russert the story of that death.

“ The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians. ” ~ Pat Robertson, fundraising letter, 1992 “ I do not believe the homosexual community deserves minority status. One's misbehavior does not qualify him or her for minority status. Blacks, Hispanics, women, etc., are God-ordained minorities who do indeed deserve minority status. ” ~ Jerry Falwell, USA Today Chat, quoted from The Religious Freedom Coalition, “ The Two faces of Jerry Falwell ” Darn, o man reikėjo ieškoti argumentų žolės legalizavimui (any ideas?), but this stuff is just too good.
