You scored as Lara Croft. A thrill-seeking, slightly unscrupulous, tough-as-nails archaeologist, Lara Croft travels the world in search of ancient relics perhaps better left hidden. She packs two Colt. 45s and has no fear of jumping off buildings, exploring creepy tombs, or taking on evil meglomaniacs bent on world domination.

The slowness of the French government to respond and the nature of the response suggests a conflict within the government between those who wish a more decisive crackdown, a view usually associated with Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy, and those who wish to address “ the root causes ” of the problem, a view usually associated with French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin.

After the debacle nominating his old personal lawyer Harriet Miers to the Court, President Bush has chosen Judge Samuel Alito, a leading light among conservative legal thinkers. The operative question now is: will this be “ Armageddon, ” as some political analysts claim, the most knock-down, drag-out, knee-to-the-groin, multi-million-dollar alley fight in modern confirmation politics? Or will it be peaceful, more decorous, like the hearings and vote for Chief Justice John Roberts?

And moving back to Sunday. Sunday was quite nice. It was mine and Joe's 11 month anniversary. I got dressed up in a cute outfit and we went to The Olive Garden, where I tried my first cosmopolitan (big thumbs up) and I also tried a bit of Joe's wine, which put an end to my wine-bashing. We had a lovely dinner, but our waitress gave me "the look" when she saw me sipping my cosmo. Whatever. So we went to see Jarhead at 10 and... wow. Honestly one of the best movies I've seen all year. Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard were incredible and not to mention Jamie Foxx. Great actors, amazing director... so obviously it turned out to be a great movie.. duh! It was funny, touching, and there was action... oh yes. Joe loved it. I knew he would. It really moved us both:)

Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert. By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and an extrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert was somebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks more about herself.

The gubernatorial race between Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Jerry Kilgore has entered its final hours with no clear leader. Both candidates are campaigning hard and, the Post reports, bringing in big names for some last minute campaigning -- Governor Mark Warner for the former, President George W. Bush for the latter. The lieutenant governor, attorney general, and all 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates are also up for grabs on today's ballot.

Did anyone else see The West Wing Presidential debate between Alan Alda and Jimmy Smits? Russell Roberts saw it and was impressed. We've been watching this show a lot lately and it's good.

This is a friendly reminder from Metakorean asking you to exercise your Korean American right to vote today. For New York City, it will be interesting to observe what percentage of the Korean American Community turned out to vote (or not) for Mayor Michael Bloomberg vs. Fernando Ferrer. In New Jersey, not only is the tight race of Jon Corzine vs. Doug Forrester intriguing after the controversial resignation of former governor James Mcgreevey, but Korean American Jun Choi, a mayoral candidate for Edison, NJ, may make history today by becoming the East Coast ’ s first Korean American mayor. Of course, not to forget our friends in California, there are four propositions supported by the Governator.

Oh. My. God. Is there really a country song called "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk"?!?! Holy shit there is cause I'm watching the video right now. * is speechless*liz! LOOOK BWAHAHAHA The kids who were left sobbing into their pumpkin risotto could at least console themselves with the fact that co-star Robert Pattinson would be out of the VIP section soon to sign their autographs. But the temptation of the free booze was clearly too much for the 19-year-old who plays fellow wizard Cedric Diggory. Says our source: "At one point he was seen lurching around with a beer in one hand and a bottle of champagne in the other. Oh God, I'm sorry but that made my day. AHHAHAHAHHA.
