If by legitimate dissent liberals could have convinced the American people and by extension their elected representatives that they were correct by substantially refuting Saddam ’ s possession and prior use of Wmds, his connections to terrorism including Al Qaeda, and his genocidal behavior toward his own Shia population, then we would not have gone to war. Liberals were not able to achieve this because Saddam was an evil dictator who actively and openly supported terrorism and had verifiably massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent people many by using chemical weapons. Those facts are not in dispute and never have been.

It warned that a captured Qaeda terrorist in American custody was in all likelihood “ intentionally misleading ” interrogators when he claimed that Iraq had trained Qaeda members to use illicit weapons. The report also made the point that an Iraq-qaeda collaboration was absurd on its face: “ Saddam ’ s regime is intensely secular and is wary of Islamic revolutionary movements. ” But just like any other evidence that disputed the administration ’ s fictional story lines, this intelligence was promptly disregarded.

I was just thinking about how awesome it was that such a popular character like Harry Potter had a crush on an Asian girl. I mean, how great is that? Way to celebrate minorities, Mrs. Rowling. Unfortunately, Cho Chang was a whiny little bitch. I would have liked her a lot more if she didn't cry all the time. Really excited for the new film. Am keeping myself away from any more clips/pictures/whatever because I did that for the third film and I felt like I had already seen the entire thing by the time the film actually came. Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Jason Isaacs, and Ralph Fiennes (in full make-up, but that's okay) together. Brilliant.

Rasmussen did a survey of 310 Likely Republican Voters about their preference for the 2008 Presidential Nominee. Rudy Giuliani (26%), Condi Rice (24%), and John Mccain (21%) were the clear front-runners, between them capturing 71% of the vote. Newt Gingrich came in fourth with 7%, and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist came in fifth with 5%. Chuck Hagel, George Allen, and Tom Tancredo were also included, but they did not hit 5%. If the big three chose not to run, Not Sure took the nomination with 30%. Gingrich was first with 27%, followed by Frist at 11%, with George Pataki, Allen, and Sam Brownback trailing in the single digits.
