Australia and Trinidad and Tobago have both qualified for the World Cup. Australia qualified in dramatic fashion beating Uruguay 4-2 on penalties. With Uruguay taking in a 1-0 lead into the second leg Australia had to get off to a great start. On 35 minutes the important break through came courtesy of Marco Bresciano. However they were unable to take a lead in the tie and thus it all came down to penalties. Uruguay got off to the worst possible start with Dario Rodriguez having his penalty saved by Mark Schwarzer.
