Haha oh god, here comes the embarrassment. The first concert I ever went to was in Ireland when I was visiting my aunt and I saw Michael Jackson on his Invincible Tour. He came in on a space shift. I was in 7th grade. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.

vbjunkie4christ: Today we salute you stressed out college student during exam week. As you sit in your lonely cubical in the library, doped up on starbucks & aderol, you think to yourself, am I ever going to need to know this stuff in life? The distractions are tempting and you have suddenly diagnosed yourself with ADD along with advanced delusionary schizophrenia with involuntary narcissistic rage, I'm sure by now you know exactly what everyone is doing because you have checked your buddy list 800 times. Christmas break is just days away, and your prozac prescription will be in tomorrow. So crack open an ice cold Bud Light after that last exam, because for most of us Christmas break will be spent in rehab.

I came home and worked on some more stuff, then later on, Amanda came over because she had to use our CD burner, so then after she left, I went over to Emilys for her Christmas party!!! Her madre made dinner which was VERY yummy! And then we played guesstures.. OH man.. they were so funny/fun.. We hung out for a bit and then we started the White Elephant Gift exchange.. I got a pretty good gift.. A lotion and perfume set.. Kara got a TOASTER! hahaha (You see we were supposed to bring one good gift and one bad gift) Yeah and then we had a 2nd and 3rd round.. So I ended up with my lotion and then a gift card to Schulers! :)

I am planning on seeing Aeon Flux and Narnia later today, so I will be doing a seperate review for each one of those. Eventually, I will see the rest of the Aeon Flux series, so I will review that. I can tell you one thing about Aeon Flux the movie, Charlize Theron looks NOTHING like Aeon in the series. More later after I actually decide to go to bed and see the movies. If there is anything else that anyone would like to see reviewed, just lay a comment down. I know I keep pushing this, but I am just trying to keep a constant flow of reviewable ideas going here.

Clip and I caught the Animal Crossing virus from. The game is super fun (although not too much different from the Gamecube version). We really wanted to get the networking stuff to work, but the Nintendo DS keeps crashing our wireless router! It's weird and annoying, and reaffirms my observation that all home-consumer networking equipment is crap. I need to bring my laptop home so we can debug this problem.

Apparently Brad Pitt is adopting Angelina Jolie ’ s kids, the youngest of whom is butt ugly, no offense, Angelina (she ’ s a regular reader). I just can ’ t see that relationship lasting. That ’ s way too much hotness for one couple to have. And I ’ m a fan, don ’ t get me wrong, but I ’ m pretty sure Angelina eats men alive. You can just TELL.

We ’ re all dressed up as directed by The Powers That Be, aka, Mom. So, white shirts and blue jeans for all. We looked like Mormons on casual Fridays. Nothing against Mormons. I think they are swell. But most people in the mall didn ’ t, and gave us quite a wide berth as we mosied on through the mall. I wonder if this will work elsewhere. Because I can think of a lot of times in which this could come in fantastically helpful. Maybe we should dress up like this at Six Flags and get in the long lines of roller coasters. People would just whisper, “ Oh crap, here come the Mormons ” and let us cut rather than let us preach.

These days, labels are coming up with all sorts of ways to reinvigorate their back catalogs for profit-making, but here's a novel concept: putting them to work for peace. 25 years after the death of John Lennon, Yoko Ono has contributed the entire Lennon songbook (including "Imagine") to Amnesty International, to help attract new supporters to the cause of international human rights. The immediate call to action: seeking a global Arms Trade Tready to help prevent gun violence. Artists involved include Black Eyed Peas, Snow Patrol, The Cure, and The Postal Service. Reporters like to be the ones asking the questions, but theâ Valerie Plame leak investigation just hasn't been working that way. In his quest to find out whether White House officials leaked that Plame was a CIA officer as a way to punish her husband Joseph Wilson, a former ambassador and a critic of the White House case for the Iraq war, special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald has got testimony from a parade of journalists, including Judith Miller of the New York Times, Matthew Cooper of TIME, NBC's Tim Russert and Bob Woodward of the Washington Post. Now add one more to the list: TIME correspondent Viveca Novak.

Lost in all the corruption and scandal talk about Bob Ney and his links to Tom Delay ’ s buds Jack Abramoff and Michael Scanlon, is that Ney turned a $100 bet into $34,000 at a casino in London in a “ three-card game of chance. ” Now, I ’ m someone who enjoys his trips to various casinos in Las Vegas and Niagara Falls, but I can not for the life of me figure out what game this is, and what long-shot odds combination would allow someone to go from $100 to $34,000 in two hands.

Wingnut "anchor" Chris Wallace, who works for Fox "Any Real Information Presented Is Coincidence" News, has the balls to question his father's sanity, Mike Wallace's sanity in criticizing the Bush Administration. Dude, last I checked, you work for Fox News. I'd suggest worry about who you work with (O'reilly, Gibson, Hannity, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin) before you question anybody else's sanity.

Oh, and for Sean's sake. Superman Returns (coming out sometime in 2006): Fairly unknown actor, Brandon Routh (pronounced like "south"), is playing Clark Kent/Kal-el/Superman. I was quick to jump to conclusions the first time I saw a picture of him he did not look like how I would pictue Superman. Now after seeing some different pictures of him, on the Superman Returns site, I've decided that he will not be a bad choice as Superman. The main bad guy, as usual, is Lex Luthor. They have Kevin Spacey playing him. I can see that working. Kevin Spacey is a wonderful actor and I've seen him bald (in the movie Seven) so I think he will be good too.
