stolen from lillyspider Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "Five Weird Habits of Yourself" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and list their names.1. I make up rare medical conditions for myself when I get an owwie.2. I make up songs all the time but usually the only words are "la la la". 3. When I sit down anywhere (at my desk, at a restaurant, on the sofa, in bed, absolutely anywhere) I have to organize my surroundings before I can relax.4. I like to pop M&M's. 5. Rarely can I read a book. I almost always have 2 or 3 going at a time. I tag: niyama, justbridget, subliminella, dragonis _ baby, nightdaughter

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And days of auld lang syne? (old long ago) For auld lang syne, my dearfor auld lang syne, We'll take a cup o kindness yet, For days of auld lang syne. And there's a hand my trusty fiere, (and there's a hand my trusty friend) And gie's a hand o thine (and give a hand of thine) And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught, (and we'll take a right good will drink) For days of auld lang syne. For auld lang syne, my dearfor auld lang syne, We'll tak a cup o kindness yet, For auld lang syne. Happy New Years, everybody.

The concerns prompted two of President Bush's most senior aides - Andrew H. Card Jr., his chief of staff, and Alberto R. Gonzales, then White House counsel and now attorney general - to make an emergency visit to a Washington hospital in March 2004 to discuss the program's future and try to win the needed approval from Attorney General John Ashcroft, who was hospitalized for gallbladder surgery, the officials said.

2005 has been a good year with it's basic ups and downs. I mean going to Seattle and meeting three people that have been in my life for a few years now was the total highlight. Learning my sister hasn't improved was one of my lows, but overall the year didn't dissapoint me. I lived through a hurricane. I learned how to cook better. Learned how to quilt. In eighty minutes I turn 23 years old. It's always interesting to me to have new years and my brthday on the same day. I literally get to start over at the new year. I like to think I am a year older, a year wiser and a year in the right direction.

In this raucous romantic comedy, John (Owen Wilson) and his partner in crime, Jeremy (Vince Vaughn), are emotional criminals; they know just how to use a woman's hopes and dreams for their own carnal gain. Their modus operandi is to crash weddings so they can meet guests who want to hook up with someone else on such a romantic day. But when John meets Claire (Rachel Mcadams), he discovers what true love -- and heartache -- feels like.

I hope that you all have a fantastic and delight filled 2006. Thank you for the invitations to spend NYE with you =) my friends truly do rock like fab rockin'things. If only someone would invent a teleporter. I saw the Producers today with the Prince, my mom, and gram. It was light and amusing although Matthew Broderick didn't have quite the "hysterical on the edge ready to snap" vibe that Gene Wilder gave Leo. I currently have corned beef braising away so that the Prince and I can indulge in corned beef and cabbage with horseradish sauce when he gets home from Cinehell. In an effort to be better about cataloguing what I've read, I'm going to start using my book journal to track the books that I've read.

The U.S. Family Network, a public advocacy group that operated in the 1990s with close ties to Rep. Tom Delay and claimed to be a nationwide grass-roots organization, was funded almost entirely by corporations linked to embattled lobbyist Jack Abramoff, according to tax records and former associates of the group. During its five-year existence, the U.S. Family Network raised $2.5 million but kept

Although it premiered as a made-for-television movie in the United States, this Ryan Reynolds vehicle was screened as a feature in Canadian movie theaters, largely due to the actor's popularity. The story follows the tension between two middle school teachers competing for the coveted Teacher of the Year Award. But while one of them remains cool about the contest (Reynolds), the other (David Paymer) feels pressured by his dead father's legacy.
