Another wonderfully fun (ny) gift from my in-laws: It's a book that's chock full of great photos of cats being "bad" complete with hilarious captions. The back cover reads: It's the dark side that most cat owners never see. The side that wouldn't be caught dead purring. Here, captured in all their infamy, are hundreds of troublemakers, delinquents, and dementors. They 're bad cats, with bad intentions, bad habits, and bad attitude. So the next time your sweet little ball of fur misses the litterbox, ask yourself - was it really an accident?

In the first such move since the Bork nomination of 1987, on December 20 the Sierra Club joined with other national environmental groups to urge Senators to oppose the confirmation of Samuel Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court. Americans deserve mainstream, independent Justices, with unassailable integrity, who will protect individual rights and freedoms. Unfortunately, Judge Alito's opinions and other statements, combined with a disturbing lack of candor since being nominated, show that Judge Alito can not be trusted to protect those rights and freedoms.10

I woke up late yet again and went to Clint's with Jenn for the FIESTA BOWL game against Notre Dame. Linz, Zach, Christie, Sib, Ash, Heather, Steph, and Kenny were also there. I had a wonderful time watching AJ for his last game as a Buckeye. Everyone keeps making a huge deal about Laura Quinn being Brady Quinn's sister and AJ Hawk's boyfriend. All I have to say about that is... I could take her. OSU WON, 34 - 20. After the game, I just went home and did homework and my UVA college application all night.

Watched Batman Begins last night (by Christopher Nolan, with Christian Bale, Liam Neeson, Tom Wilkinson, et al.). Was surprised that it had an 8.3 on the IMDB scale. I think it was a good film, but I would have liked more fresh ideas and perhaps more authentic human drama (although there was plenty of'human drama'in the film, it was hardly able to touch me).

How I wanted my night to go: I come home, check email, eat some dinner. I turn on the game and at about 10: 30 realize that we are kicking some serious ass and I to bed, content of how it will end without having to watch. What has really happened: Well, I did come home and check email and eat dinner. And I'm still watching the game. B/c it's in second OT. I sooooooooo want to win this game. Who the hell know that # 22 Flordia State could have held off # 3 Penn State like this? Um, wait. It's going into triple OT. I CAN NOT go to sleep now. Hmmm... maybe this is why I don't watch football on a regular basis. P.S. Kevin Kelly is on my shit list. COULD YOU MAKE A DAMN FIELD GOAL?!

And another thing... Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to begin shooting her latest film, "Chapter 27," about the man who murdered former Beatle John Lennon, later this month in New York City. Lohan will play a fictional character who befriends Lennon's killer (portrayed by Jared Leto) days before the rock star was gunned down in 1980.D isgraceful. She doesn't deserve, whatsoever, to be in a movie involving John Lennon. Wtf.

SO I watched Wolf Creek today and then Memoirs of a Geisha right after with. It was fun. And both movies were good. Geisha was awesome and I must see it again some time along with King Kong which was also awesome and made me cry; __; OMG Kong is so cute. Especially when he has that hissy fit when she tells him no X) And Naomi Watts is hot = O And Adrian Brody is not: | I'm sorry but no. No. Jack Black was also good. And yay for Andy having an actual part! X) I couldn't take the whole Jimmy and Hayes thing seriously though: | That Hayes dude just had all the answers. It was some big philosophical thing everytime he spoke. pointed out the best internet radio station Ever-http: // www.thescorestation.com Movie scores! I'm watching the Orange Bowl and feeling irrational resentment toward Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno because they 're both older than my dad was when he died, and there they are on the sidelines doing their thing.

You scored as Dorian Gray. You are the immortal, narcissistic bachelor from Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. Your physical beauty is matchless and your reputation, spotless. Meanwhile, your portrait suffers continual disfiguration as you pursue a secret life of debauchery, revealing the true content of your damnable soul.

When White Goodman (Ben Stiller), the owner of a trendy, high-end fitness center, makes a move to take over the stuggling local gym run by happy-go-lucky Pete La Fleur (Vince Vaughn), there's only one solution -- dodgeball! Pete and his rag-tag team of underdogs (including Stephen Root and Alan Tudyk) travel to Vegas for a knock-down, drag-out battle in which the winner takes all. Christine Taylor and Rip Torn co-star in this slapstick comedy.

Funny. I haven't been sleeping normal lately. Been going to sleep at ungodly hours of four and six am. And waking up repeatedly throughout uhm... the morning. Yay ha ha. And even funnier... I got home tonight after the bar, slightly tipsy and decided to read'jane eyre'. Reminders:'jane eyre'was written by charlotte bronte. Not Emily, and not the other weird one, or jane austen. * titters * That lasted about a page. And then I had a solo dance party. Now I'm snooping through live journals again. Ha ha I love what things I come up with when I'm insane and unsleepy. The good sister is coming home tomorrow. Hurray for that.

Quoteth the Master: "The networks will all be creating exciting, innovative new spin-offs of today's shows. Approximately 67 percent of all television will be Csi-based, including CSI: Des Moines, CSI: New York but a Different Part than Gary Sinise Is In and NCSI: SVU WKRP, which covers every possible gruesome crime with a groovin''70s beat. (Jerry Bruckheimer will also have conquered Broadway with the CSI musical" FOLLICLE! "starring Nathan Lane as a frenetic but lovable blood spatter and Matthew Broderick as lint.)

After three days of attempting to go out and see "The Producers", I finally watched it. I came away with mostly the same impressions I got from the stage musical: good songs, no one will ever be Leo Bloom like Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks is awesome, etc. But with one big qualifier: Captain Jack Harkness?! Blonde? In a Nazi uniform? Singing?? Holy crud!

With a book day, of course. ^ _ ^ I've decided to sacrifice the spines of library books on the altar of our new elliptical, so I took a quick trip over to the library today and took out three more books: Neuromancer by William Gibson, Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, and The Beginning Place by Ursula K. Le Guin. Gibson's novel is plenty floppy enough (though I'm not 100% certain of the other two), so I'll be reading about cyberspace while sweating this week.: P
