Today was my last day for winter break. kinda upset... but kinda happy about it. I can't wait to get back into the groove. My sprained ankle is a lot better now. I can walk and run... but I can't kick yet. Looks like I'll be helping out taekwondo classes tomorrow. I spent my last day trying to play games.. make my Fuu costume and... KICK ASS IN VIDEO GAMES. Instead I spent the day making pretty embellishments to her dolls... what fun. My sewing machine was being a bitch... it wasn't sewing the pink fabric I got for my Fuu costume... what a piece of crap. I think I'll make some more stuff this week... before I get my books.. Do you all realize that I have yet to get my books?! lol. Sorry I haven't taken any pics of anything.. I'm just... photographerless.

Trapped mouse thrown into fire sets home ablaze FORT SUMNER, N.M. - A mouse got its revenge against a homeowner who tried to dispose of it in a pile of burning leaves. The blazing creature ran back to the man's house and set it on fire. Luciano Mares, 81, of Fort Sumner said he caught the mouse inside his house and wanted to get rid of it. "I had some leaves burning outside, so I threw it in the fire, and the mouse was on fire and ran back at the house," Mares said from a motel room saturday. Village Fire Chief Juan Chavez said the burning mouse ran to just beneath the window, and the flames spread up from there. "I've seen numerous house fires," village Fire Department Capt. Jim Lyssy said, "but nothing as unique as this one."

INDEPENDENT COURT AD: Washington. The right wing as taken over the West Wing. George Bush gave extremists a veto over Supreme Court nominations, and they chose Samuel Alito. As a judge, Alito ruled to make it easier for corporations to discriminate, even voted to approve the strip search of a ten-year-old girl. As a government lawyer, Alito wrote, “ The Constitution does not protect the right to an abortion. ” The right wing has already taken over the West Wing. Don't let them take over your Supreme Court.

Ground rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "Five Weird Habits of Yourself" and thepeople who get tagged need to then write a LJ entry about their fivequirky little habits as well as state the rules of this game clearly. In the end, you need to list the next five people who you want to tag.

"Good evening. On December 16th, we lost our dear friend and colleague, John Spencer. Through our shock and grief, we can think of no more fitting memorial to this wonderful man, this extraordinary actor, than to share with beginning tonight, the last few months of his work here on The West Wing. Johnny, it seems we hardly knew you. We love you. And we miss you." - = Martin Sheen

Well today has been completely boss. I went into town today and my mom dropped me off at Kenny's, and he took me to Denny's, and we talked a lot which was cool. Then we went back to his house, and I seriously f*cked with the Billy's heads. (You see, they were rather stoned, which made all this very fun.) We watched the end of The Big Lebowski and part of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (which he then loaned me, so nice of him). And yeah, things were good. Oh, and my cell phone is broken, so I get a new one. W00t! I also got to stay there longer.

i feel like a hermit lately. but i do nt feel bad about it. during last semester i did go insane running around, and i desparately needed some downtime. and here it is unexpectedly.i altered the demo reel i posted on youtube, so the link is out of date. i'll repost one.i don't know if working so hard on the demo reel, resume, and a website is smart self-promotion or just some distraction from suckage.who knows.i'm going to go continue reading Neil Gaiman's "Anansi Boys". I love Neil Gaiman. Then I think I am going to go watch "Postcards of America" a film I've only watched once based on the most amazing (and my favorite) artist David Wojnarowicz.peace.

After this, we watched films that I find embarassing and not worthy of being film of the day... being Save the Last Dance (which I like and dance to, but it is nt wonderful), and Legally Blonde. They were on TBS... so it was just kind of what was on tv. My viewing pleasure was concluded by watching the Comedy Central special of the stand up comedy of Christopher Titus .... fucking hilarious. I loved his show "Titus" on FOX back in the day. Nice stuff.

Much much better than "Wolf Creek." It had a little cheese, but Eli Roth did a much better job than his "Cabin Fever" which I hated. Not as creepy as "Seven" and not as brillant as the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake or "High Tension", but it was still very good and delivers on the gore. I want to see an unrated version if they have it.

"The characterization of Jack as a'predator'and Ennis (Heath Ledger) as a victim reflects a fundamental lack of understanding about the central relationship in the film and about gay relationships in general. It seems highly doubtful that Shalit would similarly claim that Titanic's Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) was a'sexual predator'because he was pursuing a romantic relationship with Rose (Kate Winslet)."

Based on John le Carré's best-seller, this tale of political intrigue centers on Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes), a member of the British High Commission based in Nairobi. When his wife (Rachel Weisz) is murdered, Justin refuses to leave the matter to his superiors and begins his own investigation. Not even the rumors of his wife's affairs will stop him from uncovering the truth -- a conspiracy much larger and more dangerous than he'd imagined.
