Last night I got home at 2: 30, in bed by 3. I wake up to my phone ringing at 9AM. Who in the world calls me at 9AM on a Saturday. It was Zach. I quickly learned that I had sent him a text message early that morning asking.. "Why aren't you online." He small chatted and told me where he was.. but anyway.. that sucked. I fell asleep in the middle of the afternoon for an hour. I feel alseep watching a movie about Enron for about two hours.. I got like five minutes into the movie. I think I'm going to go pass out now... for the duration hopefully. I really didn't drink that much. Two mixed drinks of SUV blue and pineapple, and one shot of tequellia (sp?).. but then again, maybe that is a lot for me. I'm use to drinking beer too. Anyway.. time for sleepies.

was a good movie. So naturally I was excited to see another Ang Lee movie :-) The fact that it involved staring at Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal for two hours was not a negative either! Heath deserves all the praise he's getting for his performance, too - he's fantastic in the film, as are all the cast. It's a shame that his immature behaviour will probably help to prevent him getting the Oscar for Best Actor.

Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 Guilty Pleasures" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 Guilty Pleasures as well as state this rule. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.1. watching people in their every day lives2. locking myself in my room and not talking to my family for days3. hanging with people older than I4. not missing my sister as much as every one else5. I hate my REAL dad Tag: Daniel; Steveyd; Brittany; Kyri; Keikostephanie :-)

HOUSTON - Twenty years ago, millions of television viewers were horrified towitness the live broadcast of the space shuttle Challenger exploding 73seconds into flight, ending the lives of the seven astronauts on board. And they were equally horrified to learn in the aftermath of thedisaster that the faulty design had been chosen by NASA to satisfypowerful politicians who had demanded the mission be launched, evenunder unsafe conditions. Meanwhile, a major factor in the disaster wasthat NASA had been ordered to use a weaker sealant for environmentalreasons. Finally, NASA consoled itself and the nation with therealization that all frontiers are dangerous and to a certain extent, such a disaster should be accepted as inevitable.

It actually made me feel a little bit better. Even great men are totally fucked up. John Adams was convinced no one would remember him, even after being the first vice president, the second president, and the greatest advocate for independance. He was MAD jealous of Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin because they were popular and constantly celebrated, a male colonial cat fight if you will. I guess deep down, John Adams was really a teenage girl with braces and acne; she might be validictorian but desperately wants to be a cheerleader. apparently
