I can't wait to play "Georgia" by Ludacris and allegedly featuring Ray Charles at this retirement bop. This was the most startling thing when I first heard it. Does anyone have music recommendations? I'm especially looking for remixes of 40s and 50s songs just to spice things up. I really hope that people are willing to dance to Doris Day.. Here's a tour of the house! With extremely old pictures! Nicks'nook (!) looked incredibly classy back when it lacked a bed. This should be in a much better place than the closet :( My housemate and wonderful buddy Kevin Lo: Michael Jackson.. Who remembers these characters?

This weekend I saw The Pink Panther with my family. It was frickin hilareous, I love Steve Martin. OH! Yestarday, Jason and I went shopping for the loft and got some DVD shelves and boxes and you know, odds and ends that we needed, and I bought the movie, Mirrormask. It was fucking fantastic! It's made by the same people that made Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. It's so fucking GREAT!! I seriously reccomend it! Go out and buy it or rent it! MIRRORMASK!!!

Franklin Paul Crow, 56, was charged Monday with homicide in the death of Kenneth Matthews, 58, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Capt. Thomas Bibb said Crow initially denied his involvement, but confessed during questioning. Crow told investigators that the men were fighting about the toilet paper

I saw a figure somewhere recently: $6000. It was an estimate of how much a thirtysomething'couple'in the USA should now be putting into their combined pensions annually, to avoid their fund being'inflated away'before retirement. Can anyone who has a head for economic mathematics point me to some robust worked estimates of this number? What would the minimum wage need to be currently to both cover a'poverty-line'standard of living, and also, a'poverty line'retirement, in the UK?

Didn't get much sleep last night. Went to bed way to late and had to be up way too early. I was still aroused when we I got to bed. I thought I could be quiet. Turns out I can't. I woke C up. Ever seen The Wedding Crashers? I like the scene when they've just gotten off the boat to the family's private island. Vince Vaughn's already done it with the crazy redhead, and now she's an insane Clingon. Vince comes out of the boat looking kinda rough, and Owen Wilson asks him what's wrong. Vince replies: "She took me below the deck for forty-five minutes; I have no more bodily fluids left." Yeah. I'm feeling like that. Cool if I could sleep it off in a warm bed, but when I've got to do rush grading and teach two classes, it sux royally.

So sad ..... I'm such a nerd and have recently become obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV show, though the movie has a kind of campy charm) but anyway when I got money back from my loans from school I was gon na get the Chosen Collection on DVD from Amazon. But alas, they no longer make it so now I have to pay more for it and shipping costs. So I'm sad about that but I know I will get it soon so that's cool. Yeah, I'm a huge dork. Ask anybody that knows me. But soon I will have Joss Whedon goodness. The man looks like something happened to his head but he's a great writer and a funny man.

's defense attorney should hire a team of fifty-something paranoid schizophrenic midget men, dress them up as magazine editors, and plea that a Tom Cruise-worshipping mighty midget cult/magazine editors flushed its entire inventory of medication to honor Cruise's overpreached anti-drug beliefs. And they can dress up like Tom Cruise and jump off couches and scream crazy things about Scientology, IN COURT! By the time everybody settles down, a) the judge will have laughed himself into a heart attack, because he's probably really old, b) Tom Cruise will drop charges as a token of honor, or c) Katie Holmes will go into labor, and then the mighty midget cult will kidnap the child and sell it on Ebay for couch money.

A medal for figure skating has finally been awarded to an American at these Winter Olympics in Torino. And it was in Ice Dancing - the first Ice Dancing medal for the USA since 1976. Americans Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto came in second place behind the Russian pair to win the Silver Medal in what is perhaps the most dramatic and most artistic event found in either the Winter or Summer Olympic Games.

Sir and i just watched "Just Like Heaven" with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. It was a wonderful romantic comedy and had us laughing as well as remembering that one person can help another to find happiness after loss or show someone that they were letting life pass them by without knowing any real joy.. This is one i will actually buy because i will definitely want to watch it again...

Your personality is hard to define - you 're very unconventional. And even if your personality could be defined, it would be completely different next week! Outgoing and shy, sensitive and thoughtless, you tend to have a very split personality. This makes you unpredictable. You can be a total angel - and a total devil. You are most compatible with: everyone! Famous Type AB's: Jackie Chan and Marilyn Monroe

Holy smokes. The Deftones are currently rocking my stoned balls right now. Didn't think that was possible past 2003. In case you haven't heard the news, Scott Stapp of Jesus posing in Creed fame has his own pr0n tape. With a special guest cameo by Ka-ka-ka-ka-kid Rock. All I could find was a 45 second clip, which apparently is a ball-twisting teaser from pr0n filth company Red Light District. Supposedly they did the Paris Hilton thing too. In any event, after some obscure BJ, Scott "Stab" drops this awesome bomb after getting mouth sexed: "It's good to be king." Is this a reference to King of the Jews? Does Scott Stabbin'Stapp think he's Jesus after Bjs? The debate wages on.
