XDD I put on a whitish base and then went over with a rusty red color in splotches. It's funny. I have some black scratched on there in places, too. Mom said it'didn't look right'. XD I'm amused. I went around proclaiming the next game; "Silent Hill: The Nails". Or the salon. Or something. Omg, Silent Hill makeup. XD Blood-red blush and eyeliner, white lipstick, and Pyramid Head brand skinlotion. 8D Or the janitor. He might work better. I could see Claudia as a makeup model. Ooh! The nurses!

Congratulations are in order as Katie Holmes (of Dawson ’ s Creek fame) has given birth to a baby girl, which she and her fiancé Tom Cruise (of Oprah fame) have named Suri. Weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces, baby and mother are apparently doing “ wonderfully. ” The name Suri means “ princess ” in Hebrew which is appropriate considering she is Hollywood royalty. And according to Veronica, it also means “ pickpocket ” in Japanese. Well she would know. Tom Cruise has cancelled all his promotional plans for his latest film, Mission Impossible 3, in order to spend time with Katie and Suri, a move which clearly shows that this relationship is not just a publicity stunt gone wrong as one my heartless peers has suggested. It's true love between Katie and Tom. You'll see.

Does Newsweek report any of this? Some. The parts about being on Kerry ’ s campaign. They also note Beers many connections to Mary Mccarthy at the NSC under Clinton. The connections to the Wilsons? Nope. It seems Beers is only saying she did not leak the CIA prison information. Well, the reporting on this small part of it has been speculation because of the links to Dana Priest:

During my weekend in Saratoga, Rob, Sabrina, Marisa and I ventured out to the Wilton Mall to see American Dreamz, that being the most attractive unseen option playing in the area (beating out Silent Hill and Scary Movie 4). Despite drastically mixed-to-negative reviews, I was really into seeing Dreamz because I liked the trailer and the cast: Hugh Grant in bastard mode, Mandy Moore, Judy Greer, John Cho (Harold), Willem Dafoe, and Seth Meyers, plus Dennis Quaid doing a Bush II impression.

April 24, 2006 - The Illinois General Assembly is about to rock the nation. Members of state legislatures are normally not considered as having the ability to decide issues with a massive impact to the nation as a whole. Representative Karen A. Yarbrough of Illinois'7th District is about to shatter that perception forever. Representative Yarbrough stumbled on a little known and never utlitized rule of the US House of Representatives, Section 603 of Jefferson's Manual of the Rules of the United States House of Representatives, which allows federal impeachment proceedings to be initiated by joint resolution of a state legislature. From there, Illinois House Joint Resolution 125 was born.

Last evening on CBS'60 Minutes Ed Bradley interviewed former top CIA official, Tyler Drumheller, a 26-year veteran of the agency. Mr. Drumheller's "revelations" basically amounted to what America already was well aware of -- Bush lied. No big surprise there. He also mentioned that when the intelligence no longer fit his plans and policies -- the intelligence was ignored. Bush had such a hard-on for going to war with Iraq that he ignored all the facts and truths gathered by the CIA, lied about yellow cake uranium, lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction, lied about the threat Saddam Hussein posed, and put America's troops in harms way just so he could scratch an itch.

Blacks protest against illegals: "Some African American groups plan to join members of the Minuteman Project tomorrow to protest illegal immigration, which organizer Ted Hayes called the" biggest threat to blacks in America since slavery. "The protest is to start at 1 p.m. today in Leimert Park and is organized by Hayes'Crispus Attucks Brigade and the American Black Citizens Opposed to Illegal Immigration Invasion. Hayes, a homeless activist, said most homeless people in Los Angeles are black and that illegal immigration compounds the problem because African Americans refuse to work for the" slave wages "that many illegal immigrants accept."

"Bush's Brain" has been operating as if he were out of danger in the federal investigation of the leaking of the name of Valerie Plame, an undercover CIA agent. (Plame's husband, Joe Wilson, had fallen out with the Bush regime, and the charge is that Bushites wanted to strike a blow at him by outing her.) But Rove is not out of trouble. In fact, the stoic prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald may have evidence to make a case of perjury and obstruction of justice against Rove.

Secodly, what THE HELL qualifies you as a'celebrity'today? I was reading that fine publication the metro today, to be told ecstatically that Jade Goody had competed in the London Marathon. I first though'why are they telling me this', before reading on to see that her claim to fame was from being in Big Brother. How silly of me not to realise... still the most annoying part was reading the caption to her photo; TV star Jade rests after the marathon'. TV STAR?? What? STAR ???? What sort of definition is star, when by definition reality TV takes ordinary people from the world. What other pogrammes has she been in? I have never seen any acting from her - by what strech of the imagination can she be considered a celebrity, let alone a star?

The weekend action of Major League Soccer brought some surprises. First off the Columbus Crew shocked the LA Galaxy with a goal in the 6th minute of stoppage time to earn the full three points on the road. It was their first win under new coach Sigi Schmid and moved them to a 3rd place tie with New England. DC United stayed on a roll with an easy win at Red Bull New York while Kansas City lost their first of the season to the 10 man Dallas side. The only other game of the weekend saw Houston take care of Real Salt Lake with a late goal.

Secretary of War, Pillage and Plunder Donald Rumsfeld is currently being touted as being someone no one wants to be within a thousand miles of, even though Prezzident Bush is "Standing By His Man." Come to think of it, no one wants to be within a thousand miles of Bush, either. - Much more interesting than American Dreamz, at least this movie had some redeeming value to it, but it had some rather large holes in the plot (you never do get a plausible or complete answer to the question "Why?" and it was pretty obvious from the start who the "mole" was) I wasn't terribly impressed by Kim Basinger. David Rasche does not a good president make (much too soft)... but Michael Douglas and Keifer Sutherland worked together really well and made the movie fun to watch. (Eva Longoria wasn't half bad either)

The reports of Randy Johnson's demise have been greatly exaggerated. On Sunday afternoon, five days after being roughed up by the Blue Jays, the Big Unit dominated the Orioles, leading the Yankees to a 7-1 victory. Johnson allowed one run on three hits -- all by Miguel Tejada -- over eight innings, and Jason Giambi homered twice and drove in five runs to lead the Yankees'offense. "It doesn't get much better than that," said manager Joe Torre. "If Tejada doesn't play, it may be a no-hitter." "It's a little tough to score with only one of your guys getting hits," said Orioles skipper Sam Perlozzo. "Obviously, Randy did a pretty good job."

As for the suspension: after the game, The Spurs sent game tape to the NBA arguing that Ron Artest of the Kings applied illegal contact (meaning a cheap-shot elbow) to Manu Ginobili's face as'retaliation'during the second half. Artest was called for a foul, but the Spurs felt it deserved a'flagrant 1'status (meaning Artest would be fined $5,000). Appanently, it was even worse than that, because Stu Jackson announced minutes ago that the foul was a'flagrant 2', meaning Artest will not be allowed to participate in tomorrow's game at AT&T Center.

Josh Bolten's plans for the White House don't have much to do with reaching across the aisle or reaching out to the American people. They 're all about holding tight to Bush's base in the hopes of holding on to Congress come November. As Time explains, Bolten's five-point plan for refreshing the Bush White House mostly involves persuading conservatives that the president is still on their side -- and that they ought to be on his.

Judy Garland's last musical for MGM floats four or five fine production numbers in a story that plays like something meant for Judy and Mickey Rooney, because that's exactly what it is. By 1950 Rooney was no longer a big name draw and Gene Kelly was enlisted to take his place. As anyone who's ever gotten near Judy Garland lore knows, by this time her career was in a shambles after her aborted trouble with Annie Get Your Gun. MGM seems to have undertaken Summer Stock to get one last big show out of the talented lady before letting her go.

I didn't agree with some of the casting either. Naomi Watts did a great job, but I thought both Jack Black and Adrien Brody were wrong for their characters. Don't get me wrong - I've enjoyed both Mr. Black's and Mr. Brody's other work, they just weren't right for this movie. Mr. Black has done far too many comedic roles to play the role of Jack Driscoll. Sure, he has the smarmy part down pat, but I'm too used to hear him spurting sarcasm to take anything he says seriously. And Mr. Brody has never struck me as the "Hero" type either. Nothing personal, Mr. Brody. Maybe if you got those bangs out of your eyes and look like you weigh more than a buck twenty I might change my mind.

Mrs. Henderson Presents Interesting, I loved it (eek > _ <) and it went the way Rent wanted to... sad, and then sadder yet... and then a nail in the coffin... it kept going, but it was good... It could be classified as a musical (many musical numbers actually moved the story (GASP!) in the way Cabaret did... the numbers were on the stage, with WW2 going on around them.. in London. Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins... good pair. Kelly Reilly is gorgeous in this... (her photo's on the back, the one with the giant fan), and is definately the lead with the B-plot. Off note: I just noticed my mustache in my userpic ....... interesting.

Gwyneth Paltrow also gave birth this week. She and husband Chris Martin (lead singer of that band Coldplay) have named their son Moses, which seems like a really weird choice until you remember that they named their daughter Apple (I swear, Logan Echolls is the only normally named celebrity offspring that I know). Born six weeks premature, Moses will be closely monitored by some of America ’ s finest doctors to make sure he is OK. I've been hearing that Gwyneth wants to get back to her career and start making more movies. That last one she was in (Proof or something?) was a total snore-fest. She needs to team up with one of her gorgeous ex-boyfriends (anything to get Brad away from that psycho Angelina) and make something fun like Pretty Woman.
