Pyramid head dude was cool cause he ripped off that dumb girl's skin. Mhm. The random deformed people just made me laugh and the "lesbian" cop was hot and she kicked ass. - "what the fuck just happened?" "What the fuck!" har har har. I have to work tomorrow. Boo!

But in America, the broadcast of a Spanish version of The Star Spangled Banner has aroused a somewhat different response. Charles Key, great great grandson of Francis Scott, offered the immortal words, "I think it's despicable thing that someone is going into our society from another country and … changing our national anthem."

A movie about Al Gore giving a Powerpoint presentation about global warming doesn't sound all that exciting, but if you liked "March of the Penguins," you'll love "An Inconvenient Truth." Gore is as relentless in his travels to save the planet and faces almost as many obstacles as those penguins making their way across the tundra.

Well yes Doctor Who was on tonight, I was quite satisfied this week, firstly because David was bloody fantastic and secondly because of the appearance of Sarah Jane Smith and K9. I also loved Anthony Head's part, he was SO sinister and was really quite scary! I loved it when Sarah found the Tardis, it was such a moment! K9 had to be the life of the episode though... I almost cried when the Doctor said goodbye before he got blown up but had tears of happiness when the Tardis disappeared and a new K9 was behind it waiting for Sarah Jane. What an episode! I will probably be working on some icons when screencaps are up so watch this space! Love Alexxxxxxxxx

Supposedly, they will be featured in a future issue of Glamour magazine. My cousin Alphi is back from Iraq. The Invisible Children guys were on Oprah on Wednesday. The Global Night Commute is tomorrow night. I wonder how that will turn out... masses of people sleeping out on the streets in their city's downtown area. Will it make the news? 9 days'til dad comes home.

And that is how the fundies strike me - busy busy busy running off to church and praying and getting up protests on gay marriage and stopping teens thinking abut sex and reading the bible and preventing biology being taught and all that. They seem to have scarcely time to go to work or to do anything around the house. Imaginary friends and worlds are just so time consuming. Certainly no time to actually look up and around and realise that it is getting late, that the planet is in trouble, that the neocons, having made use of their votes (always find time to vote, it is a religious duty to vote for the right kind of people, and against the wrong kind), are taking the country in all kinds of directions incompatible with the new testament.

Well to my mind, that was the best David Tennant one yet; indeed, I think they are getting better episode by episode. Some random thoughts: - I would like them to bring back proper multi-part stories - Sarah Jane Smith is still quite gorgeous - last week, Billie Piper somehow looked younger and thinner - I wish David Tennant would learn how to use a razo properly (although he's improved a bit since the first episode, a fortnight ago).

In some cases, the bureau demanded information about one person from several companies. The department also reported it received a secret court's approval for 155 warrants to examine business records last year, under a Patriot Act provision that includes library records. There appears to be no way that Taylor can please the judges. The truly shocking part is that Taylor Hicks is the only remaining singer who has never been in the bottom group up for elimination on the show. If the public likes Taylor Hicks, why are the judges ’ comments virtually always extremely negative? Chris Daughtry gets stage smoke and guitar players, Katharine Mcphee gets sexy dresses and apologies, while Taylor Hicks gets his song pulled at the last minute and accusations of intoxication. There's no doubt that Katharine Mcphee and Chris Daughtry are extremely talented and deserve every bit of their success, but what concerns Taylor Hicks'fans is what appears to be unequal treatment on the show.

"The Sentinel" was an amazing movie. It's all star cast included Michael Douglas, Eva Longoria, Kiefer Sutherland, and Kim Basinger. This movie has just enough action and just enough suspence to make it a must see movie. Secret Service Agent Pete Garrison (Douglas) finds himself running from the government after he believes he was being framed all the while he continues to try to keep the president from being asassinated. Although all the evidence points to Garrison and Agents Breckinridge (Sutherland) and Marin (Longoria) are on his tail he continues to do what he has always done, his job. I would give this movie 5 stars.

This disorder is bipartisan, and is virtually required of all mainstream politicians. When the House of Representatives held hearings about the creation of the Department of Homeland Security in 2002, California Democrat Nancy Pelosi declared that America is "the greatest country that ever existed on the face of the earth." Texas Republican Dick Armey described the United States as "the greatest, most free nation the world has ever known." With a "grandiose sense of self-importance," politicians routinely ratchet up the rhetorical flourishes when asserting that the country is "special and unique."

As you know, the last time the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva condemned the Islamic Republic of Iran for its systematic violations of human rights, was in 2001. Since then practically each year the European Union, the United States of America and Canada have tried to bring about a new condemnation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but without success. This failure is mainly due to the structure of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, which include members who have themselves been accused of committing human rights violations.
