TAYLOR HICKS WON!!! Ok, so I watched the whole two hour season finale of American Idol and I don't normally watch it, but I had to see if Taylor would win. And he did. He wasn't my favorite, Chris was... duh, but I'm glad Taylor won, I didn't like him at first but he grew on me. One thing that I'm glad I watched the whole two hours for, is to hear that more people voted for our new American Idol than any president we've ever had. Isn't that sad...

Yesterday, I started trolling Youtube. OK, this gives me a reason to never leave my computer beyond the ones I already had. Second summer class is tonight. I read the writing samples yesterday. Some of them need a lot of work. Some do not. And for the record of the odd... I've never been a fan of Tom Delay, but he has a website that is being used to raise money for his defense fund. And if you go there... he has a clip from The Colbert Report on it... does no one who works for him actually know what Stephen Colbert is really doing?

Also, tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hugh Mcintyre (who is listed as one of the CEO's of the Hanso Foundation, but as much as I can recall, has never been mentioned in the show... but exists in everything that has been Lost-related apart from the actual series) is going to be a guest.

with me, I think I'm going to go to Columbus to see it (It's the closest it comes to Huntington). It's the documentary about global warming and all that Al Gore is doing to bring it to the forefront of our current political agenda. The director is the cousin on one of the people I lived with this year and it got really good reviews from Sundance. We could go for the day and spend some time at Easton or whatever. It's June 17th, let me know if you 're intested.

I'm feeling better than the last two days, which probably means that I'm going to send home with a cold, whee! I'm off soon to meet up with her at a museum. ___________ Today's the 67th birthday of Sir Ian Mckellen, probably best known as Gandalf and Magneto. Therefor... more Ian and Patrick Stewart at Cannes.

Several very cool things have happened to me lately. I haven't written about any of them. Now I will, and with bold first sentences! I rebuilt my website. You can view it here, if you 're inclined. It's the most professional attempt at an actual website I've ever attempted. I actually used everything I know for a change, instead of attempting to look like something else. Tell me what you think and I'll love you forever. FOREVER. I saw a bunch of movies. Yeah. I'll narrow'em down. Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - It really is great, honestly. My childhood fantasies of this shit brought to life. There just needs to be more. Do the other books. Now. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - I was one of the

Marie Antoinette, dir. Sofia Coppola. Starring Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, and Rip Torn. The most favourable describe it as being "so much more ambitious and interesting than a conventional biopic" (Nerve), and "a witty, inventive, modernist-skewed look at girl power and the lack thereof" (Premiere). But if you 're like me, and no fan of Sofia Coppola, you'll find these ones funnier to read: Jeffrey Wells labels it "the shallowest and dullest historical biopic of all time". Peter Bradshaw (Guardian) calls it "historically obtuse", and Variety's Todd Mccarthy weighs it "no more nourishing than a bonbon". Own up. Surely I'm not the only person who hasn't seen Lost In Translation (and doesn't want to)?

30 Seconds has caught plenty of flak from critics because, well, an actor with one of the prettiest mugs in Hollywood fronts the act. Actors, after all, are legally not allowed to rock, thanks to Keanu Reeves, Kevin Bacon and Russell Crowe. Nevertheless, 2005 was a blue-ribbon year for actors who sought to defy expectations with their musical inclinations, from Juliette Lewis (Juliette and the Licks), to Jada Pinkett Smith (Wicked Wisdom), to Balthazar Getty (Ringside). Oh, and Jared Leto, of course. Turns out the dude who made out with Colin Farrell in
