TAYLOR HICKS WON!!! Ok, so I watched the whole two hour season finale of American Idol and I don't normally watch it, but I had to see if Taylor would win. And he did. He wasn't my favorite, Chris was... duh, but I'm glad Taylor won, I didn't like him at first but he grew on me. One thing that I'm glad I watched the whole two hours for, is to hear that more people voted for our new American Idol than any president we've ever had. Isn't that sad...

Ohmigod. Last night couldn't have been any better. Let's recap. Taylor played his harmonica. Clay Aiken outgayed himself. Prince, yo. He's freaking awesome. TAYLOR AND KATHARINE SANG (I 'VE HAD) THE TIME OF MY LIFE !!!!!!! (Dirty Dancing fanatic, represent!) Lastly: Taylor Hicks = New American Idol. My dude finally won AI. I just can't even .... SOUL PATROL < 3

i ve been hearing from/about a lot of old friends latelytheir lives and drug habitsand for whatever reason its really starting to depress mewhich it shouldnt, i should be happy that i ve done something with my lifethat im moving on to bigger and better thingsi have people who i care for and who care for mei guess its just sort of scaryyou assume that people just naturally grow out of such youthful habitsbut i guess its just harder for some to let go than othersi just hope that they can get their lives togetherbecause they 're all good people when they want to beps. im glad Harold won top chef, tiffany was a bitchlove

Yesterday, I started trolling Youtube. OK, this gives me a reason to never leave my computer beyond the ones I already had. Second summer class is tonight. I read the writing samples yesterday. Some of them need a lot of work. Some do not. And for the record of the odd... I've never been a fan of Tom Delay, but he has a website that is being used to raise money for his defense fund. And if you go there... he has a clip from The Colbert Report on it... does no one who works for him actually know what Stephen Colbert is really doing?

Righty ho... Midian tomorrow. Looking forward to it and the best thing is I did nt even realise it was Bank holiday weekend till yesterday :) That means 4 days in next week then I have a week and a day off on leave. And Mark Gatiss'Dr Who episode is on this week... Its going to be hard to follow up the brilliance of the Cybermen 2 parter but it should be good as last years'Unquiet Dead'was one of the best of that season. Happy days as they say :)

Also, tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hugh Mcintyre (who is listed as one of the CEO's of the Hanso Foundation, but as much as I can recall, has never been mentioned in the show... but exists in everything that has been Lost-related apart from the actual series) is going to be a guest.

I swear, this is copied exactly from what's on the Yahoo home page headlines. Pay attention to the part in bold • Soul singer Hicks crowned'American Idol'• Cate Blanchett to play Bob Dylan in biopic • Joan Baez lives in tree to help save L.A. farm • video See former Destiny's Child Letoya perform

The movie is soooooooooooo good and the company made it even better!! I soo missed being with the Bees. Jean Grey as Phoenix is so scary. And Halle Berry is still so damn sexy!! I'm hoping there's gon na be another sequel. Hahaha!

with me, I think I'm going to go to Columbus to see it (It's the closest it comes to Huntington). It's the documentary about global warming and all that Al Gore is doing to bring it to the forefront of our current political agenda. The director is the cousin on one of the people I lived with this year and it got really good reviews from Sundance. We could go for the day and spend some time at Easton or whatever. It's June 17th, let me know if you 're intested.

I'm feeling better than the last two days, which probably means that I'm going to send home with a cold, whee! I'm off soon to meet up with her at a museum. ___________ Today's the 67th birthday of Sir Ian Mckellen, probably best known as Gandalf and Magneto. Therefor... more Ian and Patrick Stewart at Cannes.

Several very cool things have happened to me lately. I haven't written about any of them. Now I will, and with bold first sentences! I rebuilt my website. You can view it here, if you 're inclined. It's the most professional attempt at an actual website I've ever attempted. I actually used everything I know for a change, instead of attempting to look like something else. Tell me what you think and I'll love you forever. FOREVER. I saw a bunch of movies. Yeah. I'll narrow'em down. Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - It really is great, honestly. My childhood fantasies of this shit brought to life. There just needs to be more. Do the other books. Now. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - I was one of the

Marie Antoinette, dir. Sofia Coppola. Starring Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, and Rip Torn. The most favourable describe it as being "so much more ambitious and interesting than a conventional biopic" (Nerve), and "a witty, inventive, modernist-skewed look at girl power and the lack thereof" (Premiere). But if you 're like me, and no fan of Sofia Coppola, you'll find these ones funnier to read: Jeffrey Wells labels it "the shallowest and dullest historical biopic of all time". Peter Bradshaw (Guardian) calls it "historically obtuse", and Variety's Todd Mccarthy weighs it "no more nourishing than a bonbon". Own up. Surely I'm not the only person who hasn't seen Lost In Translation (and doesn't want to)?

Check out my new baby!!! http: // katiebernd.shutterfly.com/action/And also... YAY FOR TAYLOR HICKS winning American Idol! I have watched every season and this is the first one where I picked the winner from the beginning! I ca nt wait for his cd to come out!

Not sure how many have seen thise, but here is the link: Ghost Rider - Looks really interesting from the trailer. I think I can live with Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze, and the CGI work looks really well done.

If you go to see X3 this weekend (b/c it doesn't come out until this weekend): ~ ~ ~ ~ WARNING! SPOILERS BELOW!!! ~ ~ ~ ~ Anna Paquin is hot, yet again, as Rogue. You get to see (albeit not in her full, God-given glory) Rebecca w/o the body paint. Kelsey Grammer does Dr Mccoy a just turn. And Dr Xavier dies. Or does he? WHAT A GREAT MOVIE! And seeing it early with friends was even better!

You REALLY get the bear! Cnn.com has just delievered the good news that Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling have been found guilty on all counts in the Enron trial... it's all over but the sentencing. I can't wait to see what happens when that decision comes down. I'm hoping they both get life plus 20.

30 Seconds has caught plenty of flak from critics because, well, an actor with one of the prettiest mugs in Hollywood fronts the act. Actors, after all, are legally not allowed to rock, thanks to Keanu Reeves, Kevin Bacon and Russell Crowe. Nevertheless, 2005 was a blue-ribbon year for actors who sought to defy expectations with their musical inclinations, from Juliette Lewis (Juliette and the Licks), to Jada Pinkett Smith (Wicked Wisdom), to Balthazar Getty (Ringside). Oh, and Jared Leto, of course. Turns out the dude who made out with Colin Farrell in
