I just don't know how Sam Raimi can keep bringing great Spiderman films! How in the hell is he going to pull off the third film with 3 villains! With Venom/Eddie Brock (Topher Grace), Sandman/Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church), and the return of the Green Goblin/Harry Osborn (James Franco) how is he going to pull this off and not have too much crap going on at once?! Oh, I almost forgot to add Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard) although not a villian she has been known in the comic book as Spiderman's true love so that could get really interesting especially since it looks like venom is attached to spidey in the movie. Honestly, I really have no Idea how the film is going to end though this is just fun speculation for my entertainment.

The Illinois Family Institute managed to take some of best pictures of the gay pride parade and their commentary is a rather amusing read... almost like Emily Post with a dildo stuck in her ass (sorry Emily). Since I forgot my digital camera at home, I am grateful they took the time to make this scrap book for me.http: // www.illinoisfamily.org/photo/photoview.asp? p = 724

So the Supreme Court just ruled that PART of Tom Delay's remapping of Texas congressional districts violated the Voting Rights Act, but rejected the claim that the entire redistricting exercise constituted gerrymandering; and affirmed that state legislators may redraw maps as often as they see fit. In a dissent to the majority that found the Voting Rights Act violation, Chief Asshole Antonin Scalia "complained that the court should have shut the door on claims of political gerrymandering in map drawing," according to AP news. In other words, he wanted to remove any and all legal means by which injustices in the districting of voters could be redressed. Christ on a bike, is he even PRETENDING to uphold a democatic government anymore?

So. I think I've found a place to live in Amherst for the fall! * crosses fingers * I'm going out with my father tomorrow so he can take a look at it. Will divulge more information about subject if it looks like things will really be happening. Also, finished Watchmen. Did not disappoint. Then I watched The Legend of Zorro. Odd juxtaposition. Now watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail with commentary! * squee * And doing laundry. Of course.

Today's my day off so I picked up the very long awaited Fistful of Charms, by Kim Harrison, and Laurell K. Hamilton's, Danse Macabre. I've been waiting forever for both of these books! I'm going to read Fistful first because, frankly, its a better written series. There's action, adventure, romance, and laughs. Though I like the Anita Blake books, after a while they just seem to be the same rehashed events, and I find myself growing irritated with Anita's drama. Rachel, the heroine of the Hollows novels, also has issues, but her issues don't hijack the storyline. There actually

There is something strange and, at the same time, pleasant, about having erotic dreams about a character from a book. Normally this character would be Remus Lupin or Severus Snape, but last night my subconscious chose Percy Weasley as my dream host. Apparently, I like my men intellectual. I hate taking progestrone every three months and not because it induces heavy periods, but because it has a disturbing effect on me. Specifically, it makes me very, very, very sexually frustrated. I'm talking squirming in my seat, finding the tile in the kitchen sexy type of frustration. It's really embarassing and, again, frustrating. Thankfully I took my last pill tonight, so the whole ordeal should be over before I return to Colorado. * stretch * Ah, well, I think I might turn in early for once.: D

Joss Whedon's Equality Now speech. Joss Whedon isn't my master. I don't worship him. Joss is more like my imaginary friend. In my mind, we totally play Scrabble together all the time and eventually get bored of the real game and make the pieces talk to each other in squeaky voices, all, "U, this is the last time I must depend on you hanging around me like the FILTHY CUR THAT YOU ARE!" "Q, NOOOOOO! Remember the good times!" etc. And maybe he and Meryl Streep actually know each other and talk at parties? Maybe Meryl is a huge Buffy fan? It is fun to pretend.

Just posted at Apple today, in time for Tobey Maguire's 31st birthday, the spankin'new Spider-man 3 teaser features a prominent cameo by the fabled black suit, as well as a glimpse of the really cool Sandman effect, a fetchingly blonde Bryce Dallas Howard (as Peter Parker love interest Gwen Stacy), an awed Topher Grace (as Eddie Brock), a great final shot (pictured), and the suitably anguished emoting of Mr. Maguire. I know Superman Returns comes out today, but "Spider-man 3" is now officially the superhero movie I can't wait to see. Only 311 more days...

Just a note, I think there is only one Indian actor that Hollywood likes to use, I love him (for many of the roles that he plays) but why must we stick to the same 1, 2, 3 minority actors? While watching Superman: Me: Hey do you know who that is? Zach: M. Night Shamalan? I almost died. But as I told Zach it was Kumar from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. AKA Kal Penn. I don't think he had any lines but they showed him a lot. I think it was just to look cool I'll have to confirms this w/my Superhero expert … meaning I ask Becca to ask Adam

Honestly, I don't care what anyone says... I LIKED THE BREAK UP! So sad! I guess it's cause I can kinda relate to the whole situation. So much drama fo'yo'mamma! But ya, Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn did a good job alongside eachother! I just wasn't that thrilled with the ending... I wanted them to actually get back together. But anyways, two thumbs up from me. Moral of the flick: Don't take things for granted because you'll end up regretting it later.

Great news potentially on the Keeping the Penguins in Pittsburgh front. Seems Mark Cuban, Dan Marino and others are bidding for the Pens. The Penguins could be turning around. On Saturday, they drafted Jordan Staal, younger brother to Eric, who just lead the playoffs in scoring in only his second year in the NHL. Staal's the third center after Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin (best player not in the NHL who should arrive next season). Add Ryan Whitney on D, Marc-andre Fleury in goal, and a handful of other youngsters, combine with a new GM, and I have hope for the Pens. Also, Mark Cuban injects life into anything he does. Sure, he's obnoxious, but by himself he'll inspire more NHL coverage.
