For all you Project Runway fans, Miss USA is totally wearing the Kayne/Robert dress for the Miss Universe Pageant! * squeeeeeeeee * Miss USA came in 5th and she looks like a crazed Barbie, but I love Miss Parguay's dress. So pretty. And yes, I tuned in to the Miss Universe Pageant just to see if she would wear it. And I keep reading Kayne's name as Kanye. GOLDDIGGER!!! Miss Japan was robbed. She was so much cooler than Miss Puerto Rico.

1. Almost two weeks ago, I saw An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore's movie on global warming and climate change. I was very, very impressed with it. The movie does not attempt to inspire alarm or fear, but it very straightforwardly lays out the science in an understandable, accurate, nonpartisan, and interesting manner -- and then ends with hope and a good list of tips. 50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick! 51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.71 -90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.91 -110: You 're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.111 -130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.131 -150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.150 +: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you 're a dirty liar.

My Super Ex-girlfriend was cute. Luke Wilson was very good and I almost shat myself when I saw that Eddie Izzard was one of the stars, as Arthur and I both are a little in love with him. I love Uma also, and Anna Faris, but I felt like this movie was a lot of setup and then not much actual "revenge". Also, Wanda Sykes could have been in it a little more. Cute, but I would probably wait for DVD. Spend the money on an Eddie Izzard DVD instead of going to see this movie in the theater.

About halfway through A Scanner Darkly I'm thinking to myself "This is like some weird animated Philip K. Dick story... Well, turns out it actually * is *. I saw it for the animation, which was novel and rather trippy as objects didn't hold still and perspective was irregular. Not a bad film, reminds me of" Naked Lunch "although probably just for the general drug theme.

* Jane Espenson, one of television's best and most versatile writers (she has a great blog too), is writing an episode called "The Passage." It's episode nine of Season 3. "We had a freelance slot," and Espenson got the call, Thompson said. Just some of the shows that Espenson has worked on: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel," "Firefly," "Gilmore Girls" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (where Weddle and Thompson were staff writers). So, yeah. I have a strong feeling that her episode is going to rock. (Jane on "Galactica": "It's been a long time since I've seen a show that does such a good job of crafting plot developments that defy prediction without feeling arbitrary." Word.)

If you like Shyamalan's previous films (Sixth Sense, Signs, The Village, etc.) you'll really like this one. If you didn't like his previous efforts, I think you might actually enjoy this one too. He does a marvelous job of intertwining story telling with nice visual effects (creatures are cool), and for a change -- interjecting humor. Bob Balaban (Mighty Wind, Capote, Catch-22) adds tremendous comic relief. Newcomer Cindy Chueng does a decent job -- albeit a bit over the stop with her stereotypical Chinese-american accent (she's a former co-worker of Amy's and let's just say, her accent is VERY far from reality). Paul Giamatti is fantastic; Bryce Dallas Howard perfectly cast. And yes, Shyamalan appears in this movie, in a much more prominent role than he has previous. It's wonderful.

All is well in California. Tracy and I went to see Lady in the Water tonight. I liked it. A lot. Like second best movie of the year after v for Vendetta, a lot. (Of course I am discounting "An incovnient Truth" because it wasn't entertainment), unless of course your a narrowminded idiot republican who took it as fiction) The trailers were amazing though, and show much goodness for the rest of the year. Children of Men looks very good. http: // imdb.com/title/tt0206634/Also the WTC movie looks good. And some flick with hugh Jackman and Christian Bale as magicians called The Prestige. Looks entertaining.hope everything is well back in the east.

last.fm has gotten quite robust recently. It's got tools and a neat program now and recommended radio. Quite useful, I recommend downloading the client and sharing your musical taste so I can laugh at it. Hm, are those really the tracks I listen to the most recently? How bizarre. For my birthday, I got a Nintendo DS Lite. For a handheld console, it's quite sexy. More on that later, hurr hurr.

I went and saw My Super Ex-girlfriend. It was actually really good and funny. I love Uma Thurman. She's amazing, pretty much. So is Luke Wilson, man. Man oh man.

Sam Raimi is still promising a remake of Evil Dead when he can find a director to hand the script and casting to. And Bruce Campbell is writing and directing a film, My Name Is Bruce. I think Campbell's part bio/part memoir If Chins Could Kill is just wonderful, not just for fans but as a no-nonsense examination of a hard-working actor playing the field without A-list baggage or pretension.

already. I am so hooked, it's actually quite ridiculous. But come on, James Roday is just about the cutest guy ever. Tom Everett Scott is a close third [Jordan, who looks like him, is second]. I also really want to see Strangers with Candy, even if I can't stand Amy Sedaris. The break up scene with Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello is too fucking hilarious. I love him so much. I can't wait for July to be over. I can't stand July... it's always the worst month of the year.

And in this interview, with Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell, her character Parker is described as being "everything that Mac is not. She will be bubbly and effervescent and listen to a lot of Nelly Furtado in the room." I think she's going to be a regular to, though I could be wrong. How great is that?: D I think I'm going to love Parker. And she's so going to get on Mac's nerves. I don't know why that makes me happy.

While Samuel L. Jackson says that Poker Nights with Hayden Christensen is dead in the water he's going to be chasing him in another movie called Jumper. Hayden will be playing a young man who finds out he can teleport and goes after the man he thinks killed his mother. The fun part? Tom Sturridge and Jamie Bell are already cast in it. That's three of my favorite boys and Samuel L Jackson all in one movie. I love it! New POTC 3 footage revealed. Expect more sword fights. Saturday we took in a matinee of Clerks II. Oh my effing gee! I laughed so damn much that at times I was begging them to pause the movie so I could recover - my sides hurt so bad. Kevin Smith pulled off something that honestly I didn't think could be done. He mad a sequel that is equal to (and at times rivals) the original and he did it 12 years later. Jeff Anderson as Randal Graves again has the best and most quotable lines ("I think I can reclaim it.")... Everyone is back and no one has changed. Well not too much. I do have to mention that the kid playing Elias (Trevor Fehrman) is quite a find. He nearly steals the movie. Where on earth did Smith find this kid!?! He was perfect. My remark when it was over: "Can we stay and watch it again?"

http: // imdb.com/title/tt0796366/Matt Damon is apparently going to be playing Captain James T. Kirk. In addition, I've heard rumors of Ben Affleck possibly being in it as well. This is what I predict:

14th: Bastille Day. Some type of French independence day. Me and my mom went to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, and what is considered to be the best ice cream shop in the world. Berthillion. Or something like that.15th: Me and my mom went to Montmarte. Mainly we saw the actual Moulin Rouge. Its right by this HUGE intersection so its not as awesome and secluded as I thought it would be.16th: We went to the Musee d'Orsay and l'Orangerie.17th: Left for Toulouse. But before we did, we saw "The Break Up" again. With Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. (Why, Jen, WHY?) 18th: Nada. Lazed around at Jean-michel and Nilse's house. Avoided Beatriz.19th: Carcasonne. An old castle/fortress. REALLY hot waiter there.20th: Flew home.

Here we have another hilarious performance from Amanda Bynes, and Channing Tatum did an excellent job as well. Loved the actual brother, Sebastian. He was way funny. I've watched comedy movies before and not laughed at them, but She's The Man had comedy that I could easily relate to. So I laughed, and when things go messy towards the end, when the real Sebastian came home a day early and poor Viola (Bynes) didn't know, I was on edge to know what happened next.

So Andy Roddick is still dry in'06. He lost to James Blake today for the RCA Championship in Indiana: 4-6, 6-4, 7-6:'(* sobs * I'm glad they 're friends though:] Makes it a good rivalry. Aww, that's SO cute ^ ^ At least he and his doubles partner, Bobby Reynolds, won their tournament:] He should play doubles more often. Thanks to Yahoo!
