The recent North Korean nuclear test must have changed the approach to Iran considerably — clearly if you are against Iran developing nuclear weapons (which most estimates say won ’ t happen for five years to a decade) you would think that the earlier you strike the better. North Korea shows that if I you can develop nuclear weapon, you should and that there ’ s little that can be done about it — especially if your neighbor/patron is China.

Last night at about two am there was a fucking epic battle in the bathroom between me and the biggest cricket I've seen in a long time. It was amazing. Our bathroom isn't all that big, and this thing was the size of my entire thumb. I was armed only with a wad of toilet paper and a bottle of Star Wars Jedi Berry Scented Bubble Bath. Whenever I lunged at the damn cricket, it would jump on me. So... I dumped bubble bath on it so it couldn't move, then I squashed and flushed it.

Not only does Keanu Reeves character end up dead at the end of the movie (200 points for the writer!), but Sandra Bullock's character becomes so overwhelmed with grief that she can no longer stand living without time-travel boy. But, it's not as tragic because they 're not both 15 with families that hate each other - and it still upholds that'happily ever after'idea that love can be so strong and overpowering... ugh, I can't even write that crap.

First, a couple of questions. What happened with the time on Live Journal? The date and time showing on my end is five hours later than the actual time. Also, if Jack White and Jack Black are in the same room, do they cancel each other out? I watched a rerun of "The Andy Griffith Show" the other night. I don't normally watch it, but it was about the only thing on. Aunt Bee was a juror in a burglary case. She thought that the defendant was innocent because he looked like a nice man. Later, they showed the defendant and it was - Jack Nicholson?!? I thought it was funny that Aunt Bee thought that Jack Nicholson looked like a nice man. Andy figured out who the real burglar was, of course. Maybe the real burglar will use Matlock as his lawyer.

Of course, there are big problems in Iraq, Iran and North Korea. And quite frankly, I ’ m really not 100 percent certain exactly what American foreign policy is in those areas. What I do know is that the economy is still the greatest story never told. And Mr. Bush is correctly urging Republicans to tell the story.
