last sunday, fuder and i went to metro to shop around and then we watched Casino Royale. i thought it's one of the best bond films i've watched. i don't really like? Daniel Craig? as james bond cuz he doesn't really look the part, but god his eyes are gorgeous... there was this one scene where his eyes stood out and i just about melted. i'm a sucker for baby blue eyes... but just the shade. my fuder's eyes are better = P they 're a warm brown that make me feel safe and loved. okay then after he took me home and then at home we had korean bbq and kimchi! < 3 i love asian food .... how i've missed it while in SD!

So, on with the blogging. This is the season of interminable Christmas parties, so I went to one last night with the gang from a local non-profit agency that I'm involved with. It was a very small event with only 15 people or so, but it was a lot of fun. We did that game where everyone brings a gift, you draw numbers, and when your number comes you can either pick an unopened gift or take someone else's already opened prize. Around here, they call it a White Elephant gift exchange, but White Elephant means something different to me. I prefer "The Cutthroat Santa Game."

I expect WR Reggie Brown to explode today against an aging Sam Madison who has definitely lost a step since his days in Miami. I just tried out this funny little tool, the Librarything Unsuggester. You tell it what books you like, and it will tell you what books you won ’ t like. I put in Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, and a bunch of the high-ranking unsuggestions were written by Tim Lahaye, of Left Behind fame/infamy. A lot of others (1st and 4th for example) were written by a guy named John Piper who seems to write some sort of weird Christian stuff. The strangest title on the list was A Celebration of Discipline, which sounds kinky, and yet was another Christian book.
